ABOUT ME

I love science, art and storytelling

Photo of Me

Welcome to my website, where I blend my formal education in science with my lifelong passon, art. For an overview of my academic science, check out my CV or my Google scholar profile.

I've also developed material to engage biology students in conversations about responsible research conduct and how academic trends can have unintended consequences the broader society. You can find the articles and reading questions here, if you too would like to facilitate a 1-2 hour discussion on how scientific trends can impact public health and how categorizing certain human traits as scientific variables can perpetuate systemic racism.

This page focuses on my science communication, in particular the illustrations I've made to appreciate and engage with the razzling and dazzling nature and space around us.

I'm always interested in discussing creative project ideas! If you are interested in collaborating, or simply keen to chat, please do reach out. I'll be happy and excited to hear from you :)
